VF Basics: Impact card index

In the VineForecast field index, you can both document plant protection and manage your fertilisation properly (in Germany).

Plant protection 🌱

Document plant protection ✍️

Go to Plot index -> Plant protection and click here on the button Add spraying

Now enter all the required information in the sidebar. Also note that you can add several agents for one spraying and do not have to carry out documentation for each agent.

Wetting agents and adhesives must be distinguished in the documentation of plant protection products, as they are not subject to documentation. Therefore, these agents are not included in the list of plant protection products in VineForecast. If you still want to add wetting agents and adhesives to your documentation, simply use the "Supplements" field.

If you have made a mistake in the documentation, you can correct it at any time. To do this, simply click on the cogwheel behind the documented spray that you want to adjust. You can now adjust all entries in the sidebar that opens.

If you have a Delete spraying simply click on the rubbish bin icon behind the documented spray that you want to adjust.

Scalding quantity calculator 🧮

The Scalding quantity calculator helps you to quickly mix the next tank and calculate how many trips will be necessary for your tank size for the area to be travelled. You can also calculate what the mixture for the last tank will look like so that you don't mix more than necessary.

In order to Scalding quantity calculator go to Plot index -> Plant protection and click here on the button Scalding quantity calculator. You can now select the vineyards to be treated in the sidebar. The total area is then automatically calculated from the selection in the field Size. However, you can also adjust the area manually at any time if you wish.

Also enter the water requirement per hectare, the tank size and the resources used. At the bottom of the sidebar you will then find the calculation result for the Mixture with full tank. You can also use the dropdown to select the Mixture for the last tank select.

You can then transfer your calculation directly to the documentation and save it.

Copper account 📊

You can use the copper account at any time to see how much pure copper you have already applied and how much you can still apply. The function automatically calculates all the data. All you have to do is enter your sprayings in VineForecast as described above and you will then automatically receive the calculations.

In order to Copper account go to Plot index -> Plant protection and click here on the button Copper account.

Resistance management ☠️

The resistance management function shows you which active ingredients should currently be suspended or avoided for the rest of the season. The function automatically calculates all the data. All you have to do is enter your sprayings in VineForecast as described above and you will then automatically receive the calculations.

In order to Resistance management go to Plot index -> Plant protection and click here on the button Copper account.

PDF export ⬇️

You can export and print your documented crop protection measures as a PDF for potential inspections. To do this, go to Plot index -> Plant protection and click here on the button PDF export.

Fertilisation 🧪

Note: So far, the fertiliser documentation has only been tailored to Germany.

Document fertilisation measures ✍️

Go to Schlagkartei -> Fertilisation and click here on the button Add fertilisation measure. Now enter all the required information in the sidebar and click on Save.

The amount of nitrogen and phosphorus already applied and the nutrient balance are automatically calculated from the fertilisation measure you have entered. You can find the values in the Field overview and Nutrient balance boxes on the same page.

Create, edit & export requirements planning 🧮

Go to Impact file -> Requirements planning. Here you will find the calculation framework for requirements planning. Depending on the region, you can use the required calculation basis here. In the field Method you can select the correct method. Now enter all the required information in the sidebar. On the right-hand side you will see in the box Summary immediately displays the calculated values based on your entries. When you are finished, click on the right on Save & continue.

If you have made a mistake in your requirements planning, you can correct it at any time. To do this, go to your completed requirements planning, which you can find in the box Earlier demand planning find. Simply click on the cogwheel behind the planning. The data is automatically read into the calculation frame at the top and you can make any adjustments here. When you are finished, simply click on Save & continue to complete the process.

You can also export the requirements planning using the first icon in the last column.
