Delete or deactivate users

If a user leaves the company or no longer needs access to the system, you can either Delete or Deactivate. Both options have different effects.

Delete user

To delete a user, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the Settings (via profile picture at the top right of the PC).
  2. Select the area Users.
  3. Click on the button at the top right Delete next to the corresponding user.

Note:
A user can can only be deletedwhen No linked objects or data entries are linked to it. If objects are linked to it, the system prevents deletion in this case in order to ensure the integrity of entries requiring documentation.

Deactivate user

If deletion is not possible, you can delete the user Deactivate:

  1. Go to Settings > Users.
  2. Select the relevant user.
  3. Click on the button Deactivate.

The user can then do not log in anymoreHowever, it remains visible in previous entries, which is particularly important for traceability in the documentation.
