Separate plots

In the VineForecast app, a single field can be separated into two units. This is necessary, for example, if several grape varieties are planted on one parcel and these are displayed as one area after importing the data. You often want to subdivide the planted grape variety again.

To use this function, you must log in once at Setting to the area Plots and click on the button with the scissors at the top right of the map.

The editing mode now starts. To separate a plot, you can draw a line along which the plot is separated. All you have to do is set a start and end point for the line, as shown in the following image:

You can confirm the action and split the plot into two new plots using the green button that then appears at the bottom.

Please note that all available information that was previously associated with the field (e.g. associated plant protection measures, fertilisation measures or work as well as vine variety or parcel number etc.) will be transferred to the two new fields.

However, you can still customise all the information in the field details. To do this, simply search for the relevant course in the list on the right-hand side or via the map, select it and change the information as required.
